A specific environmental commitment starting in 2024<\/h2>\n
\n

HEF has embarked on a major environmental transition in recent years by investing in renewable energy.<\/p>\n

Our commitment to preserving the environment is specifically reflected in the circular economy of our processes and a product offering focused on replacing technologies that pollute. The circular economy enables HEF to become totally independent of the market and its volatility in our procurement.<\/p>\n

In addition, since early 2024 Green Center Europe has been producing recycled oxidation salts and supplies 100% of the requirements of European sites. With regard to nitriding salts, three tons have already been produced and are being tested in the industrial baths at the Andr\u00e9zieux site.<\/p>\n

Finally, HEF has invested in photovoltaic panels for several production sites around the world. In China photovoltaic panels produce up to 30% of the energy needs at four plants. In Poland in Zbaszynek, photovoltaic panels produce 5 to 10% of the necessary energy. In France, by summer 2024 this number is 13% of annual consumption at the French sites that will be covered by photovoltaic panels.<\/p>\n
