A new era for technological innovation<\/h2>\n
\n

HEF Photonics Saint-Etienne will enable the HEF Group to stimulate innovation and meet growing market needs in diverse sectors. “Our ambition is to develop technology platforms together with our future customers and partners”, states HEF Photonics BU Director.<\/p>\n

The production part of the plant offers medium-scale and large-scale production of mid-range and top-range products. The site covers 1,000 square meters, including 250 square meters devoted to cleanrooms.<\/p>\n

Markets targeted by the new plant include defense, aerospace, and medical.<\/p>\n

Already in the operational phase, HEF Photonics Saint-\u00c9tienne has commenced production of optical components for the defense sector. This promising market should represent approximately \u20ac1 million in the medium term. Recently, the plant has also started with treatment of glass slides for the biomedical sector. These glass slides, used in medical analysis, are a significant opportunity in the field of consumable parts.<\/p>\n

In January, a new plant was commissioned in the Saint-\u00c9tienne region: HEF Photonics Saint-\u00c9tienne. This state-of-the-art plant is positioned as a technology showcase for the Group in the field of photonics, offering a platform dedicated to production, R&D, and the industrialization of innovative
