Metal components for earthmoving equipment

Earthmoving equipment operates in difficult environments where component performance and durability are crucial. The friction components, essential elements of these machines, must be designed to withstand significant loads, shock, abrasion, even if there is a lubrication problem (cut-off of the grease supply line, omission on the part of the operator, etc.) 

  

The PEL® product line, developed for this sector perfectly meets these requirements. This is why the major manufacturers have placed their trust in us for several decades. This product line enables both extremely long lubrication intervals, up to 1000 m, or even no lubrication at all, and also:  

  • reduced maintenance requirements, etc. 
  • reduced direct costs (lubricant, central lubrication system, etc.) 
  • a better respect for the environment (no waste grease or less waste grease in the environment) 

  

Our CLIN™ treatment perfectly meets the technical specifications requisite for the required operating conditions. Our liquid nitrocarburizing technologies have been developed to ensure the technical performance of metal components for earthmoving equipment, such as:  

  • Hinge pins 
  • Hydraulic valves (piston rods, valve body, guide heads, etc.) 

 

Our tribological expertise enables consistent improvement: 

  • Wear resistance (abrasion, adhesion) 
  • Friction behavior (coefficient, leak-tightness, heating, stick-slip) 
  • Corrosion resistance (BS adherence test more than 400 h)
