Friction components for material handling equipment

Material handling equipment refers to machines specially designed to move, lift, and transport merchandise and products, safely and efficiently.  

 

Our CLIN™ treatment perfectly meets the technical specifications required by demanding operational conditions. Our liquid nitrocarburizing technologies have been developed to ensure the technical performance of friction components for material handling equipment such as:  

  • Hinge pins 
  • Hydraulic valves (piston rods, valve body, guide heads, etc.) 

 

Our tribological expertise enables consistent improvement: 

  • Wear resistance (abrasion, adhesion) 
  • Friction behavior (coefficient, leak-tightness, heating, stick-slip) 
  • Corrosion resistance (BS adherence test more than 400 h) 

 

The HEF composite bushings meet the technical demands and enable operation without lubrication, in high “high-pressure / high-speed” conditions. They are being rapidly adopted thanks to their high-performance tribological properties with regard to coefficient of friction and service life. 

Thanks to its high load capacity, the range of composite  H-Liner™ bushings is perfectly tailored to the technical demands of materials handling equipment such as aerial work platforms, truck-mounted cranes or axles, etc.
