HEF positions itself as the major player in the development of hydrogen-related technologies
HEF offers a polyvalent and eco-friendly solution that can serve as a clean energy carrier in various sectors such as mobility and industry.
Recently HEF invested €40 million in a new plant in Saint-Etienne dedicated to fuel cells used in hydrogen vehicles.
PVD is used here to overlay the stainless steel and carbon steel and give it corrosion-resistant properties. Consequently the PEMFC and PEM electrolysers will gain an extended operational service life.
The HEF vision is clear: Namely to make robust, sustainable, and economically competitive solutions accessible starting in 2025, with a view towards massdeployment approximately by the year 2030.
This approach is not only economical, it is also robust, thanks to it’s use of tried and tested technologies within the Group that are sustainable through prioritization of recyclable, non-fossil materials.
