Optica Advanced Manufacturing Alliance
Tuesday 25 June, 2024 the Optica Industry Summit was held in Neuchatel, Switzerland. This annual summit brings together the major players of the European optics sector, and also some well-known international participants, such as Sumitomo and Google.
HEF was represented at this event by one of our experts on the commercial team, Jorge Juliàn Sanchez Martinez. HEF’s objective was to showcase its optics capacities and its economic model, which concentrates on three specific market niches:
– Optics coders for space, notably for VLEO (Very Low Earth Orbit) satellites.
– The advanced plastics treatments.
– Spectral filtration, particularly infrared (IR) with a black coating and the possibility of integration with the filter.
The subject matter of HEF’s presentation was: “HEF Photonics, your European, leading-edge, industrial partner. Involved and trends, a unique vision”. This presentation focuses on demonstrating HEF expertise in the field of photonics and summarizes HEF’s position as a key partner in the European optics industry.
